The Confederacy’s next generation of anti-strikecraft fleet defence ship, while the Artemis is classed as a Gunship, she is the only ship of this size range to completely lack any form of guns whatsoever. Instead of guns the Artemis sports two massive side mounted missile bays, each one full to the brim with hordes of small swarm missiles, which allow it to shred through any incoming fighters with ease. Though this does limit it’s offensive capability and renders it helpless when it runs out of missiles, for these reasons Gunship squads across the Confederacy are refusing to retire the older Ursa’s completely and are instead moving them on to a supplemental role with the new Artemis.
