Where the Salvation is designed for battle, the Deliverance is designed for peace. Much of the forward parts of the ship are given over to modular hangars and cargo bays. When fully extended, the hangar can carry no fewer than thirty strike craft, meaning if pressed into service as a carrier it could field a full ten squadrons of Cherubim. The Deliverance itself however is currently configured to carry a single squadron, along with six Angels. Behind the cargo bays are survey rooms, medical facilities and other chambers which provide the Deliverance with a wide range of mission capabilities. It is envisioned that the Deliverance will lead the exploration of the other worlds in the system, before heading out in search of the Elder Gods.
The largest feature of the Deliverance is its observatory, a large round structure on the top of the vessel, with a vast array of autoscopes on the lower fin. While the smaller Heavenships have observatories capable of detecting most common things, the Deliverance can pick up all kinds of exotic signals, many of which are not fully understood by the Forgotten as the autoscopes themselves are designs lifted almost as-is from the ruins of the Ancestors.
Though it lacks the mass driver of the Salvation, the Deliverance is protected by two dorsal and two ventral turrets, each armed with twin anti-photon beams. These advanced and potentially unstable weapons fire beams similar to ordinary lasers, but made of anti-photons. Though they lack the punch of an anti-matter pellet, their rapid rate of fire makes up for it and make them more useful against strike craft. A pair of forward facing anti-photon beams are located on the lower fin, while each facing is further protected by half a dozen hull-mounted heavy lasers.
