The Erelim is the first ship big enough to support the Heavy Meson Projector, fitting one of these along with a pair of Medium Meson Projectors and two Light Meson Projectors. While the Heavy Projector does massive amounts of damage, it can only sustain two beams at a time, and is harder to aim with the magnetic lines than other projectors. However, it does bring the weapons count up to two Heavy Beams, eight Medium Beams, and eight Small Beams.
