The Flame Ascendent is a great deal larger than the Flamewraith for, on paper, a fairly small increase in firepower. However, it has substantially improved shields and power systems, and its weapons have much greater rate of fire and range. Although it is vulnerable due to its large profile, the Ascendent is far from an easy target. 1800m, 800 crew.
