The Multi-beam Corvette, like the Strike Corvette, pushes the line between capital and strike craft. While the plasma bombs of the Bomber are generally sufficient, those in Sokal's Crusade who are lucky enough to survive several engagements are given these deadly machines. Mounting four modified plasma lances, the Multi-beam Corvette can make short work of most heavier ships.
