| Unlocks the ability to construct the Science Ship type of capital ship. Science ships are dedicated to exploration of space and the advancement of the sciences, a such they carry minimal armament, however like MPBs they can be deployed in a system and produce 35 RP a turn. However in addition to this they may survey planets, undeployed they act as regular survey ships, however while deployed a single Mobile Research Ship may survey every planet in a system at once. In addition deployed or undeployed MRS's count as Survey ships, granting the 5% bonus to detecting ships with Ambush (This does NOT stack with the regular survey ship bonus) NOTE: Mass Produced MRSs produce 18rp a turn, Titanic MRSs produce 70rp a turn. | |
