Luyten 726-8

<<<Warning: This system has been deemed HAZARDOUS and access is restricted>>>

The remote Luyten system has claimed more lives then any other, filled with intense magnetic anomalies that make negotiating the system something even veteran pilots have trouble with. On top of this there are millions upon millions of (Thankfully inactive) mines. As with Altair the exact origin of these mines remains a mystery, but the leading theory is they’re related. Luyten has no permanent population and is occasionally patrolled by a particularly brave captain. A series of warning buoys were recently set up in the system and some scientists have postulated that some of the anomalies deeper in the system may be worth checking out.
