A1 'Spite'

• (Class U) Small Gas Giant

Whatever vagaries of fate caused Spite to form so close to its star have resulted in there being no other planets in the inner system. Spite has swept up all of the debris that could have formed them during its own formation.

A2 'Defiance'

• (Class 2) Habitable Planet

Lying on the outermost edge of Scorn's habitable zone, Defiance has stood against all the odds to provide a world capable of supporting life. Somehow it escaped the pull of its two sister planets during the systems formation, and now it hangs on defiantly, despite its great distance from Scorn. Due to this distance, Defiance is a cool world, its equatorial regions being merely temperate and its landmasses dominated by glaciers and frozen wastes. Despite this, life thrives on its surface and in the vast oceans beneath the ice.

A3 'Greed'

• (Class U) Large Gas Giant

Greed is to the outer system what Spite is to the inner. During its formation, it swept the outer system clear of material, turning into a large, dense gas giant that orbits Spite alone and far from its warming light.
