The first true capital ships by Union standards the Heritage class light cruiser is scheduled to enter full production as soon as the main armament actually works. At this time the two prototypes are outfitted with twelve heavy cannon in four triple turrets; as opposed to the projected final armament of two triple heavy cannon turrets and two twin ion beam turrets. Secondary armament consists of two guided torpedo launchers and a number of strike drones.

These problems have since been resolved thanks to a massive investment into rapid prototyping at the Eden Complex and the two prototypes are scheduled for refits as soon as vessels can be tasked to their current positions. Secondary armament consists of two guided torpedo launchers and a number of strike drones.
